“In a Lagos State Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, singer Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, or Sam Larry, were granted bail on Monday. The bail amount is set at N20 million, with three appointed sureties.”

“On October 6, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others were arraigned and subsequently remanded due to their alleged connection to the circumstances surrounding the passing of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad. The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, instructed the defendants to surrender their passports and directed them to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department at Panti.”

“As a component of the bail conditions, Magistrate Olatunbosun ruled that the defendants must forfeit their passports and adhere to a weekly reporting requirement at the State Criminal Investigation Department.”

She also warned that no one should contact her directly on the case.

“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” she added.
