Rainford Kalaba In A Road Traffic Accident

Former Chipolopolo Midfielder/Captain Rainford Kalaba Was Involved In A Road Traffic Accident On April 13, 2024. Kalaba’s Car Was Involved In A Head On Collision With A Truck.

According To A Police Statement On The Fatal Accident, It Is Believed That Rainford Kalaba Was A Passenger On The Said Motor Vehicle Which Was A Mercedes Benz With An Unregistered Number Plate Being Driven By An Unidentified Female Who Is Said To Have Died On Spot While Rainford Kalaba Was Believed To Have Sustained Internal Injuries And Was Rushed To The University Teaching Hospital(UTH) For Medical Attention.

Preliminary Investigations Indicate That The Accident Occurred As A Result Of Improper Overtaking By The Benz Car, Leading To A Collision With The Oncoming Truck.
